Katie & Keith are the epitome of grace and class in the most Kate Middleton & Prince William kind-of-way. You might remember them from their engagement session. Can I tell you about what happened during their wedding planning? These two were notified that they wouldn’t get to have their Baltimore wedding at the church they had chosen, Mount Vernon Baptist Church. If you live in the Baltimore-area, you’ve likely drive by this gorgeous church, and there’s no way you would have missed it! It sits right next to Mount Vernon Square Park, with it’s big, booming, and grandeur architecture. There had been structural damage. They would need to find a new church. And because of that, they were married in the same church as Katie’s parents. While it wasn’t their first choice, the latter was still amazing, and incredibly significant.
Second of all, when we hear guests talk about Katie & Keith the way guests do, we lean in to hear it all. We are eager to know more, because it changes the way we shoot and what we look for. Guests were saying things like, “nobody loves each other they way Katie & Keith do,” and “they are perfect for each other.” Most noteworthy? The way they loved each other, and everyone else. While planning, Katie & her mom went to 40+ stores to find the favors for their guests, which were marble coasters with gold trim. Katie’s twin brother was her “Man of Honor,” and we also loved that. It was an amazing day, had by all, and I cannot wait for you to view these images!
