Just as there are four seasons in the year, there are seasons in the wedding industry. For all of us East-Coast wedding vendors, it is “engagement session season”! The weather is finally amazing again, the chances for snow have diminished, and the sun is staying out longer! All of the sudden life goes from 0-100 practically overnight. I would be lying if I said I didn’t love it. I work well under pressure, and it’s SO fun getting to shoot nearly everyday for six months.
Emmalee & Daniel’s engagement session at Army Navy Country Club was one of my first of the year. You would NEVER be able to guess that it was in the 40’s during our shoot. Emmalee is wearing this adorable red dress with the prettiest back, and she rocked the freezing wind. Emmalee is many things to me. We met because we went to college together, and I was friends with her sister. AND I got to photograph her sister’s wedding in Summer 2016!! Now it’s Emmalee’s turn, and I couldn’t be more honored to continue to be a part of her family’s legacy. These two are gorgeous. We photographed their session where Emmalee spent many days as a child, and now she & Daniel will tie the knot here!
