This wedding makes we want to pack up my bags right now and move to the Eastern Shore! One of my favorite parts of moving back home to Maryland has been getting to photograph weddings across the bridge. Megan & Ben’s wedding was perfect. It COULD have rained. It COULD have been flooded and muddy where their tent was set up along the water. We COULD have gotten stuck in crazy bridge traffic going back and forth. But no, it was pretty much perfect. Or, at least that’s how my memory serves to remember it!
Megan & Ben have been living in Pensacola throughout their engagement, so I hadn’t gotten much of a chance to know them before their wedding. Megan and I got to meet once while she was home. Other than that, what I knew of them wasn’t a lot. Here’s what I did know! 1) These two high school sweethearts were Prom King & Queen. 2) They are SO SWEET and have been together for 10 years! 3) They recently got a dog, who sadly, wasn’t a part of their bridal party and stayed in FL for the wedding. 4) They feel like forever friends to me and Andrew.
These two got married at Corsica Yacht Club. There was a perfect mix of blues, greens, and whites scattered throughout their nautical wedding. I loved the water backdrop that they had. The boys the day before caught fish, and all of their guests got to eat them during their cocktail hour, too!
